Our October speaker is Robert Garfinkle, F.R.A.S.. He will be talking about star-hopping. For those who aren't familiar with the concept of star-hopping, it involves using brighter stars to connect the dots to the fainter object you're trying to find. It is a very useful technique to know.

Robert has written the book Star-Hopping: Your Visa to Viewing the Universe. If you have a copy, feel free to bring it to the meeting to have Robert autograph it. If you don't have a copy, here's your chance to get one -- Robert will be bringing copies of his Star-Hopping book to sell. Price $20, cash and checks gladly accepted. Alas, he can not take credit cards.
