Barcroft High Altitude Research Station

The Barcroft Research Station is located in California's White Mountains at an elevation of 12,450'. Through special arrangements, Tri-Valley members are allowed to stay at the facility for the yearly Barcroft star party. Members pay a daily room and board fee, and are required to help clean up the kitchen (at least once) after meals. In exchange, members get to set up their scope in one of the darkest sky locations in the nation
